The work of the new Funding System, Capim Branco Water Treatment and Supply, of the city of Uberlândia, enter the final stage. Closing the month of June, Mayor Odelmo Leão visited the construction site.
Accompanied by members of the judiciary, federal prosecutors and prosecutors, representatives of the Municipal Department of Water and Sewage – Mae, of the directors of Caixa Econômica Federal, Mayor Odelmo, was received by the technical team of the BCC Consortium, led by BT Engenharia, responsible for the construction of the Capim Branco System.
Capable of supplying a population of up to 500 thousand inhabitants, white grass, brings some differentials that will optimize the management of the treatment process. since the capture, until the distribution of water to the population, everything is integrated and automated, controlled by a central supervisory system, installed in the treatment plant. is what will allow communication between all stages, ensuring greater precision and agility of the operation.
More of 90% of electromechanical equipment have already been assembled, including the main motor-pump sets for the capture and pumping station of treated water. The electrical infrastructure is in the final stage, the main control and automation panels have already been installed, and the civil structures are practically completed. The costs of the first stage of the work exceed the figure of BRL 300 million.
